Groupe Danone SA (EPA.BN), the world's largest yoghurt maker, said, Friday, it has strengthened its presence in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region by merging its fresh dairy business in Russia with OAO Unimilk. Post merger, Danone will hold 57.5 percent in the combined company while Unimilk will hold 42.5 percent.
