Lidl is actively seeking further land in Romania in order to advance the company's reach into Eastern Europe. Specifically, the chain is looking to strategically select towns with more than 30,000 inhabitants. The chain is interested in plots between 4000 and 8000 sq m, and in renting space of 800 sq m at least.
