Lidl has formed an alliance with Taylor Wimpey, one of the UK’s largest construction firms, in a bid to build what could be Scotland’s cheapest new private homes. These will start at around £64,000 for a one bedroom flat. in efforts to help struggling first time buyer, customers will have their deposits and legal fees paid for them - an offer many will find enticing.
